Todd Stepanek Litigation Paralegal
Todd Stepanek has been a paralegal for almost two decades and joined us from the law firm Brewer Attorney & Counselors, where he spent the first 15 years of his career. Todd has a vast amount of experience as a trial and litigation paralegal in various areas of the law, including: personal injury, intellectual property, environmental, oil and gas, hotel and hospitality and general business torts.
Todd was born and raised in Wisconsin but has been in Texas since 2000, when he began attending the Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Dallas, Texas. Prior to coming to Texas, Todd received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He made the Dean’s List numerous times while pursuing his undergraduate degree. Recently, Todd completed his Personal Injury Law Paralegal Certificate Program from the University of Texas at Austin.
Todd played four years of college basketball at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire (1990-94) where he earned first team all-conference honors during his junior season. He played for the legendary Coach Ken Anderson who was inducted to the NAIA hall of fame in 1990. Todd’s name is prominent in the Blugold basketball record books in several categories, including: 12th in blocked shots, 14th in field goal percentage and 45th in scoring in school history. The teams he played on finished with an overall record of 87-25.
Todd is also proud to be a veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps from 1995-1999. While in the Marine Corps, Todd was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Hawaii. His proudest moment during his service was being promoted by General Anthony Zinni while deployed to Operation Cobra Gold in Bangkok, Thailand. Todd was honorably discharged in 1999 with the rank of Corporal.
Todd is a zealous advocate for our clients. But when he’s not working, you can find Todd volunteering for the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program where he assists military veterans at the Veteran Legal Clinic. Todd also mentors young professionals for the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division.
